Detailed description of Lone Pines Golf Course

Lone Pines Golf Course, is a Public, 18 hole executive length golf course located in West Palm Beach, Florida.

Lone Pines Golf Course first opened for play in 1981. The course was designed by Richard W. LaConte and  Ted McAnlis,

This is a tight course due to all the pine trees.  The terrain is basically flat, but there are some mounds that can affect your lies.  The large greens are gently rolling and medium speed.  There are no sand bunkers on this course, but there are six grass bunkers and two water hazards coming into play on four holes.

Par for the course is 62. From the back tees the course plays to 4,120 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 3,795 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 6, a par-4 that plays to 355 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 7, a par-3 that plays to 115 yards from the back tees.

Watch out for # 6, the 355 yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole is # 7, the 115 yard par-3.

Known for their modest rates, Lone Pine is one of the easiest courses to walk, with no extra charge for pull carts. Unlike most public golf courses, an average round at Lone Pine Golf Course ranges from 2.5-3 hours.
